THE ENVIRONMENT
AND INNOVATION
GAP has a long-term goal to ensure our growth keeps our environmental impact as low as possible. With
the challenges our planet faces, we believe we have a responsibility to ensure our business operates in
a way that always keeps our impact in mind. From our procurement process, to our fleet of nationwide
delivery vehicles, we ensure that we have the most eco products available. This means we will continue
to heavily invest in the latest innovative equipment, green technologies and embrace environmentally
friendly processes. Through technology and training, we continue to improve and reduce.
NET ZERO BY 2040
GAP recognises that business and wider society must urgently reduce environmental impacts to lessen
the effects of climate change. GAP has a set a target of net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
GAP is currently working on a verifiable carbon footprint which is aligned with the Greenhouse Gas
Protocol, a leading carbon accounting standard. An annual carbon footprint is an essential first step
of a net zero strategy and allows GAP to identify emission hotspots and plan future actions to reduce
these emissions.
