                       Douglas Anderson
                       Joint MD
“Since I was about 14 I’ve liked buying things and doing deals, and that’s not changed over the years. Both Iain and I get
a real buzz out of creating something bigger, but at GAP it’s all about fairness. As a family business, we create our own
culture and make our own decisions. We believe in trust and transparency, and are not driven purely by profit. Instead
we’re building something for the future and so make decisions which are right for the long term development of our
                       business.”

                       Iain Anderson
                       Joint MD
“Douglas and I are both very hands on, operational people and we love how each one of our 1,800 staff feels they can lift
the phone at any time and talk to us. It’s the same with our customers, they know if there’s a problem, we want them to
talk to us so we can sort it out. The third generation of our family is now involved in the company, but neither Douglas
or I are planning on going anywhere just yet - we’ve still got work to do, plus we’re enjoying ourselves too much!”

                       Chris Parr
                       Chief Operating Officer
“GAP is an exemplar of how a family owned business can grow and prosper by maintaining a long term view and staying
true to its core values. Our decision making is based on a long term horizon allowing us to grow in a consistent and
structured fashion. This growth is delivered through an unwavering focus on customer service sustained through the
supply of high quality, modern equipment. This focus is underpinned by an infectious can-do culture. I believe that these
factors will continue to be the cornerstone of our success..”

                       Mark Anderson
                       Managing Director - North
“I joined GAP in October 2008 at virtually the same time as the global recession, coming from the personal financial
services industry where money was free flowing, the recession was a key part of GAP’s and my development in terms
of efficiency and service. I have worked in Sales, Head Office Teams and now Operations - I genuinely enjoy them all. We
have many talented and experienced people in our business, and with everyone’s support I look forward to cementing
GAP’s place as one of the top hire companies in the UK, continuing my Grandfather’s legacy.”
